If you are a black “woman” not a “childish girl” and in this day and time not blessed to say #HappyFathersDay to your husband, child’s father, baby daddy, lover, friend, cousin, brother, uncle, nephew and your own father; then you aren’t a woman you’re a child!
You say black lives matter but then wish harm to your child/children father because he doesn’t pay child support. Get off that man’s back the government, law, police, courts, klan, white man, etc., already have their foot on his neck, back, shoulders and head!
You all feel in trap to begin with! Instead of working with your man, baby daddy, child’s father; you chose the government, who already taken all they could from you when they decided that the man in your house wasn’t worth a penny more or less a dollar.
Instead of stamping up your bootstraps and fighting with him you did exactly what they wanted you to do; you kicked him out, called him names, put the government on him and in your business so that he wouldn’t be able to better himself. Now he’s trying and it’s still isn’t good enough for you nor the government! So what do you do you should that same hate, derogatory self loathing bullshit down his child’s throat and in their heads.
Now the child have the same hate as you and the government does when they were the ones that put him in that situation to begin with! Sis try something new!
Try being the shoulder he can cry on because if my man didn’t cry he doesn’t care! Try being the right hand when his is tied! Try having his back like you want him to have yours! See the thing is you weren’t born with two strikes against you nor a target on your back, but every black man is! Once that #FamilyBond is broken everyone in your house is vulnerable to failure, even if they become financially successful! Think about that!
So today start to mend the hole, ease the pain, build the bond, carry your weight, lift his spirits, share the blame, encourage the love, bare the burden, motivate the will and bring your family back together.
Cook for your child’s father, meet his new woman like a real woman would, promote your sister and congratulate them on their happiness! Don’t teardown what you gave up only to assert your independence. You had pride then have even more when he’s moved on and she do her part and build him up.
