Last week the Detectives Sweets and Johnathon was on campus gathering more information from their suspects; Annabell, Danielle and Mitch in reference to Joshwin’s murder.

Detective Sweets turned to his partner and said, “I had a feeling she was going to be the one.” Detective Johnathon agreed and so they heads to the office. They needed a full work up on Ms. Danielle Fig, because clearly she was hiding something. As they were leaving they were stopped by Kevin Gope, neurology major. He had a lot to say because it was a lot on his mind that was bothering him about that whole night. “Detectives, may I?!” “Who is he again?” “I’m not sure but he seems to know us.” “Is he part of the Elite 8?” “I don’t know but we are about to find out.”
“I’m glad I saw you both. I have some things I would like to get off my chest. We have to find somewhere to speak in private or I could be next.” The Detectives found a empty classroom and took Kevin in there to hear what he had to say. “Okay so what do you have.” “This have to be off the record like you actually did some work and discovered it. Sorry, saracasm is my defense mechanism…” “Forgiven and noted so, tell us what’s off the record?” “I saw Ingrid and Joshwin arguing that night about something, serious so I got close enough to hear. Ingrid was yelling saying, “he wouldn’t be like this had it not been for your egoistical, immature ass research!” “Who would be like what?” “Andre of course! Ingrid never goes to bat for anyone but Andre. They have been together since birth damn near. They were born the same day grew up in each other’s households. Their parents are basically inseparable and so are they. They are best friends turned lovers. She told him, Joshwin, she was going to expose him for the ass he really was and that he was going to get kicked out of school for his blunder, maybe even have his licenses revoked. Then Mitch walked in trying to calm them down. Mitch told Ingrid that we were all trying our best to get Andre back the way he use to be. She told Mitch to stay out of it or she would report his unwarranted research to the Dean as well. He asked her to stop being a bitch and just listen. Andre can read lips and when Mitch called her a bitch he went off. He punched Mitch in the face. Mitch fell like a sack of potatoes. That’s when Danielle came to Mitch rescue but Annabell doesn’t play about Mitch even though I think he’s fully gay. She came in and told Danielle to get her hands off her man. Then they got to arguing. Annabell claimed Danielle always wants her sloppy seconds. Danielle replied, “I can’t help it if your men wants me or if you can’t hold onto a man more than 5 months.” That’s when I walked in and told everyone to break it up because this doesn’t sound like a group of Elite people but a group of savages. Then Joshwin told everyone to go into the other room and let him and Ingrid finish their conversation. We all left and that’s when Danielle told everyone that if Joshwin can’t help she have been working on little side research of her own. We were all shocked because she does nothing research wise without Joshwin. So in my mind I was thinking she stole Joshwin research and was going to push it off as her own. That’s all I have about that night for you all.”
“Why didn’t you tell us about that the night of the murder?” “First, is it really murder? Secondly, the Elite doesn’t go against their own. Why do you think we are in a dark classroom having this discussion? The Elite would have my membership if they knew I gave one of them up. The last thing you want to do is have scientists as an enemy! I feel I said too much, I have to go.” He exit the classroom and headed to his dorm.
The new information had them on edge and they wanted to know, who else knows what about this powwow. “We need to know who he was even though we agreed it was off the record but it won’t be.” They went looking for George Weng, biochemistry major. They went to scheduling to find out where they could find George Weng. The lady at the front desk told them in the quad having lunch. They headed to the quad. Ingrid caught sight of them, but had no idea they were there, so she followed them. They lead her right to the quad and right to George. They showed George their badges and asked for a moment of his time. He agreed. “So Mr. Weng, what is it that you major in here again?” “I am a biochemistry major.” “What can you tell us about that night at the party?” “Everyone had way too much to drink, punches was thrown, secrets were told and Joshwin ended up dead.” “Who was fighting?” “I didn’t say anyone was fighting, I said punches were thrown.” “Isn’t that the same thing?” “No it’s not. It’s only a fight if two people throw punches back at one another and they make contact; other than that it is what it is, punches being thrown.” “You are so correct!” “I know I am. Anyway, Andre punched Joshwin so I heard. I didn’t witness it but that’s what was told when everyone came from the bedroom.” “Here the thing I don’t get is how you all end up with a whole dorm to yourself if you all are already scientist with homes and money?” “Was that a question detective or just a statement?” “It was definitely a question!” “First, don’t come for me because I didn’t send for you all. Secondly, our research for this University gets them grants, titles, credit and future funding, so naturally we need our space to do what we do.” “By the way is biochemistry the only major you are studying here?” “Yes, but it isn’t my only degree.” “Why am I not surprised? What other degrees do you have?” “I am an Engineer, Information Technologist, Medical Doctor as well as Pathologist. Is there anything else I can help you all with? If not I’m late for a patient. I have clinicals on Thursdays – Saturday at Union Hospital.” George walked away winking at Ingrid as he exit the quad. Ingrid continue to hide so she wouldn’t be seen. The Detectives headed back to the office to add their notes to their investigation as well as a full work up on Danielle.
