Wednesday – Hump Day Blues

Goddess morning Royals. First, give praise and worship to the all High. Second, I decided to start a “The Village Cry Chronicle” which will highlight events, news, challenges, and articles of children/families accomplishments.

Have you ever had that feeling that this day isn’t going to go the way you want it to? You sit around and mope because you don’t want to jinx it. You just know that something is going to happen but not sure what. So you have those hump day blues.

In your mind you think it could be your last day on the job because of some things that you might have said or have done. Your intention was good and you thought that you were doing the right thing, but still have that nagging feeling within. You aren’t sure if it is guilt or panick but you know you can’t shake it. Maybe you stepped out on your partner and not sure if he/she knows about it but today you have a feeling that you are going to find out. So instead of playing it cool, or confessing to it you rather wait and see. Now your stomach is in knot because that is what’s going to be on your mind all day. You got bad news last night and need prayer for someone or yourself, it may be minor so they say but you know minor can lead to major so you are just a little more intense than you would like to be. Your thoughts are all over the place and for that you can’t seem to grasp at happiness or a hint of joy to save your life.

Those hump day blues, really have you down because last night you didn’t get to see your children, because you got in late and had to leave early. You missed out on the game your child had or the play because of work but you know you can make it up to them but this was the last one of the year and it was the one they asked you not to miss. Either way there is something that have you in a funk and you have no idea what to do about it.

Shake it off, you have to get your head in the workplace, or in life right now. You have to trust that everything will work itself out with a little help from you talking it through with the people you need to work it out with. Being your family, friend, partner, supervisor, or child; either way nothing comes from nothing so do something to make it different. Don’t just sit around and have the feeling of self loth. You can do anything beside feel like shit, so make a call, make reservations, schedule a meeting, just don’t send a test message, because this needs to be handled in person.

Sending you all love and kisses. #GoddessLove
