I am fortunate and blessed that chivalry isn’t dead in this day and ages.
So I have been broken down in my truck before and a tow truck driver pulled over and gave me a hand. I had blown a tire and was attempting to change it but out of no where a gentle stranger came and rescued me. I would like to thank all the men of any color, race, or nationality that refuse to allow women to be damsels in distress. I salute you for your bravery in not know if it is a set up and more for not being a creep or mass murderer when you assist.
This morning as I was driving my daughter’s car and dropping her off to work. Her car simply shut off on me. Now I know I just went and had a tune-up done, oil change, cam shaft sensory replaced, all the lights replace and a new battery, so for the life of me i had no idea why it shut off on me. I do believe in safety first. I was sitting there thinking if only I was still married. Went to reach for my cell phone and then it died as well. Oh my word, I am in trouble now. I started to curse but then I just looked up and asked the Lord to help.
The guy was coming out of 711 and saw me sitting there. He wanted to know if I was alright. I told him no, I think I need a hotshot. He said let me check your connections first before I give you a hotshot. He checked and they were loose. I was thankful it wasn’t nothing to serious. He tighten them and then I asked him how much do I owe you. He said nothing but a smile. I gave him a smile and a hug. I thanked him and was on my way.
A week ago I was taking my daughter to the market in her car because she loves to use it since she got it. Gas on the Chest. Anyway and the car shut down on us but mind you this was before I brought the new battery. A neighbor of mine, my sister, my daughter and myself pushed it from out of the street. Since it is a small car it was quite light in maneuvering. Afterwards we went to get another battery to replace the old one. I was going to replace it myself and started the work. Then another neighbor of mine came along and finished it. I would love to thank the both of them for their assistance. I owe one of them a hairdo and waiting on his to decide when he wants it. I owe the other a cooked meal. I don’t mind neither of the request for their services.
So ladies chivalry isn’t dead it is very much alive in this day and age. Just be a Queen when you are being service and don’t assume it is for free. That’s when it get’s ugly. Thanks to all the Kings who are pioneers when it comes to assisting Queens, ladies, and Goddess as myself, in everyday life.
Sending you all Kisses. #Goddesslove
