My granddaughter is 6 and the hardest thing in the world to explain to her is death. It’s hard to explain death when she’s just learning about life. She has a strong love for people and she sympathizes with everyone’s pain. It’s like she carries so much love that she needs to brighten others life to feel accomplished.
When she sees a neighbor she always speaks and they speak back. She smiles and hold conversation with them on a child’s level of course. She always ask them about their days and how they are feeling. She shows concern for others well being. She is definitely her grandmother’s grandchild.
If the 6 years old can do it, why can’t the adults do it? It costs her nothing and I guarantee it well cost you nothing.
