Ignorance Gained but Respect Lost

Goddess Morning Royals

Now I am not the one to speak on this exactly because I know sometimes I can get or be a little ignorant, but not to my elderly  Never that my grandfather would whip my ass if I ever did so.

So I took a stroll through the city yesterday once again running errands. While out I came across four elderly people. Two men and two women, can’t say for sure if they were couples or not but that isn’t my problem nor concern right now.  This is though, I spoke and only one of them spoke back. So me being me I stopped and say well I did speak you all as a whole and not just one of you.

The lady which I can tell she was sassy back in her day said I don’t have to speak if I don’t want to.  I kindly agreed and then I said this.  You all complain about how young people don’t speak when they are in the presence of their elderly and now I see why.  If doesn’t cost a thing for you to reply when someone greets you.  You never know if speaking back save a person’s life or not.  You don’t know what that person is going to or feeling.  Your return greeting could be the reason that person doesn’t commit suicide or harm someone else in the travels.  I didn’t do you no harm and it is too damn early in the morning for ignorance.  All I said was good morning to you all.  Ma’am you don’t have to be so messy this early in the morning.  I bet you this though when you need a young person whether it’s your family or not and they don’t respond, you going to wish you spoke to me without me having to say all this to you.  Now you all have a bless day and I was on my way.

This is why the children have no respect because they aren’t being taught any by those ignorant as folks raising them or just passing by them.  The Village is crying and I know why.  Please people it doesn’t cost nothing to just speak to people out of the kindness of your heart.  There is nothing gain but common curiosity and nothing lost but words.

Sending you all love and kisses #GoddessLove
